Gene Kutcher is an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Management at Rider. He received his Bachelors degree in Business Management and Psychology from Rutgers University, his Masters Degree in Psychology from Montclair State University, and his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech. Gene’s applied experience includes work with AT&T and Booz Allen Hamilton, as well as training and development design and evaluation at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Gene has published articles related to employee selection and workplace dynamics in outlets such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business & Psychology, and Journal of Applied Social Psychology. At Rider, he teaches courses in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, he is active in university service related to faculty mentoring and academic advising, but his true love is DAARSTOC. Outside of Rider, his true loves are his wife, Jen, and his sons, DJ Reed, and Beau.
